My name is Emeritta Alexis. I am the founder of The Loving Mind, with a dynamic partner, Kathleen Hayes-Barker. I always had a propensity to help others who are struggling with so many afflictions and negativities because I have walked down that path many times. And through my life experiences, good, bad and indifferent, I am here, standing stronger than ever! Through my ups and downs, I realize that all human beings seek a whole or self-integration. This is so because life is broken. I became a hypnotherapist to help me to find and create wholeness in all areas of my life. The Loving Mind is a place to find healing and hope. My inspiration for becoming a hypnotherapist was when a friend of mine had her own practice and she helped my son with his test anxiety. Every time he needed to take a test, he got sick to his stomach and didn’t do well. She put him under hypnosis and gave him some affirmations that stuck with him, and he passed his state test with flying colors! He graduated with honors. I was fascinated by the process of hypnotherapy because I believe in the power of the mind to do extraordinary things. I also believe holistic medicines work just as well as, if not better than allopathic medicine. I love working in the field! I love the process of this type of healing. I especially love seeing the end results. It is absolutely amazing! I am so excited to join Emeritta Alexis on this journey at The Loving Mind. I can’t wait to work with you.
